"Art Rhode Island" Set To Air Four New Episodes This Fall

After a successful four-episode pilot in January of this year, Art Rhode Island (Art RI) will resume this fall with the broadcast of four new episodes. Starting September 5, the new episodes will air on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm on Rhode Island PBS.

Art RI, hosted by Martina Windels, is a series of half hour conversations about arts topics in Rhode Island. Its mission is to raise public awareness of the arts and promote the rich and
diverse arts community of Rhode Island.

Topics like "Art as an Economic Engine" and "Art Education" are on the roster as well as segments looking at museums and galleries in Rhode Island. Guests include artists, administrators, gallerists, educators, and museum officials John Smith, Lisa Goddard, Richard
Fishman, Sara Agniel, Brian Chippendale, Deb Dormody, Randall Rosenbaum, Clay Rockefeller, Aidan Petrie, Sarah Ganz Blythe, Barbara Wong, and Paul Sproll.

In addition, two public viewings are scheduled for September:

September 12, 6:30 pm: Metcalf Auditorium at the RISD Museum
September 19, 6:30 pm: Granoff Ctr for the Creative Arts @ Brown

Both events are free and open to the public. More Info
