NEW! Circle of the Sea: Revisited and Re-imagined
The Circle of the Sea exhibit, showcasing the Museum's diverse holdings from Oceania, re-opens on April 16, 2012- with an astonishingly extreme make-over. Originally opened in June 2000, the exhibit focused exclusively on objects crafted by people inhabiting South Pacific islands. The new exhibit introduces a far greater array of objects such as those used in daily life for cooking, clothing, fishing and seafaring- most of which have never been publicly viewed.
