Arts Passport offers free admission to arts events for Rhode Island high school students as part of their work to achieve Rhode Island's arts proficiency graduation requirement. This year Arts Passport has been selected as one of the Providence After-School Alliance's Expanded Learning Opportunities, where students receive school-based credit for out of school work.
Arts Passport is also open to any Rhode Island high school teacher who is willing to incorporate community arts events into their arts or humanities curriculum. The Arts Passport website also offers a Student Task Library where students and teachers can choose standards-based lessons and projects before and after attending Arts Passport events, as well as a self-guided program for students wishing to participate in Arts Passport as an independent study.
