Celebramos: A Latino Community Celebration Exhibition

Artists' Reception: October 12, 2011, 5-7 p.m.

Celebramos, the group show on view through October 28 in the Gallery at City Hall, showcases the work of regional Latino artists including: Balam Soto, Quintín Rivera-Toro, Tamara Diaz and Alicia Preza. It is presented as part of the Latino CommUNITY Celebration in conjunction with Casa de Arte de Guatemala.

Mayor Angel Taveras, the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, the Hispanic Heritage Committee of Rhode Island and the Rhode Island State Council for the Arts present Rhode Island's third annual Latino CommUNITY Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Celebramos, la exposición colectiva en exhibición hasta el 28 de octubre en la Galería de la Alcaldía, muestra el trabajo de artistas latinos locales incluyendo: Balam Soto, Quintín Rivera-Toro, Tamara Díaz y Alicia Preza. Presentado en conjunto con la Casa de Arte de Guatemala.

El Alcalde Angel Taveras, el Departamento de Arte, Cultura y Turismo de la Ciudad de Providence, el Comité de la Herencia Hispana y la Comisión de Arte del Estado, presentan la tercera Celebración anual de la ComUNIDAD Latina de Rhode Island, como parte del Mes de la Herencia Hispana.
