Join host Phil Goldman for a special edition of "Live Bait: True Stories from Real People" on Wednesday, March 6th at Roots Cultural Center. This special event is to benefit Beautiful Day Rhode Island, a not-for-profit organization supporting education and employment opportunities for refugees and immigrants. Come share true-life stories of Refuge, Immigration and Hope.
Beautiful Day Rhode Island, the parent of the Providence Granola Project, works to involve the entire community in becoming a place of refuge. Beautiful Day believes that employment opens doors, enables learning, builds confidence, and supports families. At its best, a job is a vital expression of being human, as is storytelling.
All you have to do put your name in the fishbowl and, when your name is called, come up and tell your story. No notes, no rants, just a room full of listeners and supporters.
