Mayor Taveras will help officially launch National Grid's "The Fine Art
of Recycling - Saving is an Art" campaign with the unveiling of one of 8 themed sculptures created by a diverse group of local artists using recycled refrigerators. The exhibit is part of an effort to create awareness of National Grid's refrigerator recycling program, which offers incentives and rebates to consumers to responsibly recycle their old refrigerators and freezers. The public is invited to join Mayor Taveras for this fun event, which kicks-off at 1:00 pm with a brief press conference followed by a celebration featuring music, food and fun activities for kids!
