Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative Events: Update For Friday, August 9th

Mayor Angel Taveras, the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism and the Department of Parks & Recreation have announced changes to Friday, August 9th's Neighborhood Performing Arts Events.

• The performance of Treasure Island by All Children's Theater @ St. Andrews, originally scheduled to be at Brown Street Park, has been moved to the East Side/Mt. Hope YMCA. This event begins at 1:30pm and is free to the public.
  
• ECAS Theatre's performances at Roger Williams Park, originally scheduled for 3pm, has been cancelled.

From music and dance to Opera In the Park, Mayor Angel Taveras' Neighborhood Performing Arts Initiative showcases the art of local neighborhoods in city parks throughout the summer.
