X Factor Auditions To Be Held In Providence May 9

The X Factor will hold talent auditions at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence on May 9.

The auditions are open to solo artists as well as vocal groups age 12 and over with no upper age limit. In addition and new for Season Two, artists with pre-existing management contracts can now audition.

The X Factor Season Two winner will receive a $5 million recording contract with Sony Music.

Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid will return as judges to The X Factor this fall on FOX. Additional judges are to be announced.

The world's only $5 million audition will begin online on March 1st. Open call auditions start March 14 in Kansas City, MO and travel on to Austin, TX, San Francisco, CA, and Greensboro, NC, before coming to the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence on May 9th.
