I am pleased to welcome you to the Providence City Council website, and I cordially invite you to take a virtual tour of the legislative branch of our municipal government.
These electronic pages offer access to the legislative initiatives, neighborhood improvements and events, ordinances and resolutions, and policy analyses being introduced and implemented by the fifteen members of the Council.
In addition, the site is designed to help you learn well in advance about Council and committee meetings, and to understand how new projects in your neighborhood and throughout the city will impact our daily lives now and into the foreseeable future.

My colleagues and I on the Council are honored to represent a diverse and thriving Providence - a city at once rooted in tradition and eager to embrace change for the better.
