Councilman Nicholas J. Narducci, Jr. and the North End Community Action Committee will hold the 3rd Annual Ward 4 Septemberfest that will take place Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Prete-Metcalf Field, located on Hawkins Street, in Providence. The rain date is Saturday, September 26, 2009 same time and location.
This highly anticipated community event will include a free hot dog roast, pizza, pony rides, a 3-course obstacle jumping gym and face-painting. There will also be games and raffles for children in attendance as well.
In addition, informational tables will be organized by the Fire and Emergency Management Departments on fire prevention techniques and emergency evacuation procedures. Voter registration will also be provided by the Secretary of State's Office.
Councilman Narducci would like to thank in particular, Venda Ravioli, Pawtucket Asphalt, the Providence Police, Fire, and Recreation Departments along with the Emergency Management Division for all of their assistance with this 3rd Annual Septemberfest. Parents are asked to escort their children to Septemberfest and all residents of the 4th Ward are invited.
