Councilman Seth Yurdin represents Fox Point and parts of College Hill and Wayland Square.

Seth is a member of the Ordinances, Public Works and Claims and Pending Suits Committees.

Prior to his election to the Council, Seth Yurdin was a Fox Point Citizens Association Board Member, monitoring the I-195 development and encouraging community participation in the planning process as our city grows.  Seth was also the Chairman of Democracy for America – RI – fighting for a fair and fiscally responsible state budget and better health care. 

Seth is also a volunteer shelter manager, including for 200 people in Mississippi immediately after Hurricane Katrina and with the Providence Emergency Management Agency.
