The Ward 7 community helped build this nation with its bricklayers, ironworkers and artisans. It is a community that worked long hours in the mills, created businesses and fought discrimination to make a better life for all. It is a community whose residents made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives to protect this country from its enemies and to preserve democracy for the entire world. It is a community that inspired its sons and daughters to become teachers, police officers, firefighters, doctors, lawyers,
When I think of our community, I am overcome with pride and hope. Pride in what we have accomplished and hope in what we will accomplish in the future.
Please take the time to look around our website to find out how you can get involved, and don't hesitate to contact my staff or me if you have any questions.
