Environmental Services

The Environmental Services Division of DPW serves residents by:

• Overseeing the residential waste and recycling contract;
• Enforcing of the City's "Green Up" (No Bin No Barrel) recycling program;
• Enforcing environmental regulations through the issue of fines;
• Initiating "clean and lien" actions to clean up problem lots;
• Baiting residential properties as part of the Rodent Control program
• Providing environmental outreach and education
• Distributing Big Green Cans
• Issuing dumpster permits (for dumpsters situated on public property)
