Your Big Green Can is about to get greener and recycling just got easier. Starting October 1, Waste Management and the City of Providence will deliver new gray trash barrels to city residents and convert the Big Green Cans currently used for trash to a larger recycling barrel, all in an effort to increase recycling rates across the city.

With the Big Green Can, you don't need to sort your recycling. Put your plastics, paper, glass, metal cans and foil together in the Big Green Can. When residents recycle, Providence saves money and we support a more sustainable future for future generations.
