About the PEMA Press Room
The PEMA Press Room has the following regional capabilities:

Ability to conduct and share live Television and Radio broadcasts from the Providence EOC;

Ability to distribute via the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Basic Rate Interface (BRI) to any participating RIBA member;

Ability to connect with power, video and audio feeds any local mobile Television News truck; and

Ability to produce video and audio content for direct feed to web and Podcasts.

PEMA was evaluated by the Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP) in August 2010 and received EMAP accreditation on 27 October 2010. PEMA was recognized with a Press Conference in December of 2010 as the first municipality in the US to achieve this status.
