Olivermy little miracle!
Oliver came into my life in late April, 2001. I had just lost my beloved Bichon, Maxi, and was devastated. Where was I going to find another white fluffball
Oliver was found trapped under a chain link fence, bleeding from the puncture wounds. He was terribly hungry, matted, filthy and frightened. He must have been on his own for some time since his collar was choking him. He didn't utter a sound for almost two weeks. Oliver was such a disaster he was first thought to be an old dog. Once at the vet and examined, Ollie is probably between two and three. This poor, scared, twelve pound little boy had a broken leg in two places, and in a cast for over a month. Ticks, Roundworms, and a severe urinary track infection added to his discomfort. Oliver
Well, my little miracle did survive as you can see for yourself. It's amazing what a good groomer, terrific vet, a can of Mighty Dog, and most importantly a whole bunch of love will do for any lost soul in a shelter. Nameless |
