Melissa Guillet is a URI Master Gardener with an upcoming cookbook of world cuisine recipes using local ingredients. Her workshop will cover drying and storing herbs, preparing nasturtium "capers" for chicken piccata with lemon balm, and pumpkin polenta with sage.
Following Melissa's workshop, attendees are invited to participate in a 'Recipe Swap', sharing recipes inspired by
produce grown throughout the gardening season. Bring a recipe to trade and prepare the recipe for the Harvest Festival at the garden in October!
All workshops start at 10:00am
and will take place in the Roger Williams Park Community Garden.
Free and open to the Public!
