Looking for a great activity for the kids? Check out our Eco-Exploration Camp!
Summer Eco-Exploration Summer Camp at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center
Have you ever wondered what types of animals may be living in the city? Kids will learn scientific techniques for collecting insects, tracking mammals and cataloging the birds that use the garden as a habitat. Each day, your budding naturalist will play nature-themed games, make arts and crafts projects, draw in a nature journal and collect materials for their nature box. The children's garden at the new Roger Williams Park Community Garden is the perfect setting for kids to learn about growing healthy food with the URI Master Gardeners and to discover the diversity of nature found in urban greenspaces.
