Helpful Pictures when approaching Providence
from Points East using Route 6 |

Downtown Providence and 95 and 195 can be reached through the "Route 6 East to 10 North Exit"  Route 10 South will also take you to Union Avenue, Cranston Street, Reservoir Avenue, the Huntington Industrial Park, Roger Williams Park Zoo, Elmwood Avenue and it ends at Park Avenue. In addition, this is a nice route to 95 South.  Stay left for Downtown Providence and points North, East and South  Be prepared for this split!   Stay to the right for Downtown destinations and use the left exit for the 95 North - South split or to continue East on 195  The 95 North - South option - this split also leads to 195 and Route 6 East If continuing Eastbound, once you are on 95 South, immediately prepare to move over several lanes to the left for 195 and route 6 East.  Approaching the Memorial Blvd. intersection from the "Providence Downtown" exit.  |
