Providence - Mayor Angel Taveras and Economic Development Director James Bennett invited Providence small businesses to take part in the upcoming free workshop, "How to Finance Your Small Business," hosted by Mayor Taveras and the U.S. Small Business Administration. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, in the Doorley Municipal Building, 444 Westminster Street, Providence., 1st floor main conference room.
This is one of a series of monthly workshops providing free information on how to strengthen business and grow jobs. It is part of a unique partnership between the City and the US SBA. Speakers include: Gregory Gould, Lender Relations Specialist, U.S. Small Business Admn.; Tamarah Bacon, Business Development Manager, Southeastern Economic Development (SEED) Corporation; Denise Barge, Financial Portfolio Manager, Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, and Stuart MacDonald, Finance Director, Mayor's Office of Economic Development.
