Sergeant Steven M. Shaw

Sergeant Shaw was shot and killed while searching a home, on Benedict Street, where a robbery suspect was hiding. The suspect was hiding in a closet on the second floor of the home and shot Sergeant Shaw when he was found. The suspect was shot and killed by other officers on the scene.

Sergeant Shaw was posthumously promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He had been with the agency for five years and is survived by his wife.
