Providence Fire Department Automated Phone Attendant System

For non-emergency calls, please dial (401) 274-3344 where you will be greeted by an automated phone attendant who will direct you to the appropriate office within the Providence Fire Department. The various options are as follows:

Press 0 for a Fire or Medical Emergency Call for Service

Press 1 for Alarm Contractors

Press 2 for the Fire Prevention Bureau and to Schedule an Inspection for a Building, License, Tent, Church, Smoke Detector or Carbon Monoxide Detector

Press 3 for Reporting Flowing Hydrants

Press 4 for the Chief's Office and all Administrative Inquiries

Press 5 for Members of the Press Inquiring about Active Alarms

Press 6 for the EMS Division

Press 7 for the Training Division
