World Famous Asian Elephants Get Washed Up for Providence with Fire Department; Servicemen & Women and their Families in Attendance

WHAT: On Thursday, May 2nd, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Built To Amaze! will treat servicemen and women and members of their families to a special animal care presentation. As part of the fun, the Providence Fire Department will help the elephants prepare for their show at the Dunkin' Donuts Center by providing them with a relaxing bath, followed by an animal care lesson from elephant trainer, Ryan Henning.

After their bath, Asia the Elephant will raise the American flag and salute the servicemen and women and their families, who will also receive tickets for the show as a thank you for their service.

The event is free and open to the public.
