2010 Program Description:
The Mayoral Fellowship Program is a full time, eleven-week program that runs from June 7th, 2010, until August 20th, 2010 with a one week vacation included in the eleven weeks. The Fellows will be placed with a City Department to get a better idea of how City Government works. Each Fellow will receive a $2,000.00 stipend at the end of the Fellowship Program.
Having benefited from Fellowship Programs while a student, Mayor Cicilline realizes the importance of hands on work experience. The students chosen for a Fellowship will have a unique learning experience designed to work with their own talents.
To apply students must:
- Have completed four semesters of college.
- Complete the Fellowship Application.
- Submit two letters of recommendation, a resume, and a college transcript.
After review of the above, an individual under consideration will be scheduled for an in person interview at Providence City.
