City Firefighter contract approved
Senior Assistant City Solicitor Kenneth Chiavarini was the Law Department's point man on year-long intensive negotiations with the firefighters union that have resulted in the first approved collective bargaining agreement in nine years. Among other changes, the new agreement includes firefighter contributions to the cost of health benefits for the first time. Read about it on the Projo website here.
