Law Department argues for pension revocation

Chief of Litigation Anthony F. Cottone presented oral arguments in the Rhode Island Supreme Court regarding the revocation of a police officer's pension. The Retirement Board had announced that it intended to take action against the retired officer's pension because he failed to provide "honorable service," even though he had not been convicted of a crime, and the Rhode Island Superior Court agreed that the Board had such power.
