License for Level II Permanently Revoked

Providence Journal:

The city Licensing Board on Monday permanently revoked the licenses of the Level II nightclub after violations that included a massive April brawl described by one police patrolman as "pretty much a slaughterhouse."

"We felt it was a dangerous situation and something the city of Providence can't tolerate," board chairman Andrew J. Annaldo said Tuesday. "It's the harshest penalty we can impose."
