
Free event to highlight social-impact careers in fields such as public administration, international affairs, education, public policy, social work, and nonprofit management.
Idealist.org and Brown University will host a graduate degree fair to connect prospective students with graduate schools to further social-impact careers. The fair, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Tuesday, September 20 from 5-8PM at Brown's Andrews Dining Hall, located on the corner of Brown and Cushing Streets. Nearly 70 exhibitors and representatives from schools including the Boston University School of Social Work, the Harvard School of Public Health, the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development and the Brown University Master of Public Affairs and Master of Public Policy Programs will be in attendance and ready to discuss all questions about their schools' offerings, the application process and more.
The fair will also feature a panel on the application process, financial aid and transitioning back to school. Interested students will have the opportunity to learn more about various school offerings, what they can do to enhance their applications and their career prospects after graduation.
