Mayor Taveras Appoints Diverse Group to City Boards and Commissions

Mayor Angel Taveras is pleased to announce his recent appointments to City Boards and Commissions. The 15 new appointments and 12 reappointments represent a diverse group of individuals with an impressive range of talents, experience and service in the City of Providence.

These individuals will serve terms on important City Boards and Commissions responsible for oversight of Providence's schools, elections, licenses, zoning, preservation, new development, city employee salaries, equal opportunity for the City of Providence, and the largest water utility in Rhode Island.

Their diversity of perspectives, experience, and insights will be a great value to the City as my administration works to move Providence forward," said Mayor Taveras.
