The People's University: The Museum's Outside Story

Visitors often admire the rich Victorian splendor of our 1896 National Register building. Was it always a museum- or was it once an elegant private residence? Museum Docent Jack Doll will offer an historic survey of the Museum's ornate exterior- from its terra cotta trim and granite foundation, to its landmark tower clock and slate roof. Can you spot the "new" wing (1915?) How about the dinosaur? Images from the Museum's archives including antique glass slides will augment the outdoor part of this program. Pre-registration required.

Tues. June 28, 10:00-11:30am
