Celebrate the International Space Station and NASA’s 50th anniversary: Learn more about space and the space station with space science discovery stations and space-tacular family fun activities for all ages.  Mission Moon: Past, Present, Future exhibit: Journey from the earliest days of lunar exploration right up to the future through multi-media, 3D imagery, and museum collections. Exhibit sponsored by the RI Space Grant Consortium and the Brown/NASA Northeast Regional Planetary Data Center.

Why are they important? Which creatures call shells their home? Find out while creating a shell necklace. Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Adventure: Learn about the final manned HST servicing mission and celebrate the history and legacy of this magnificent science tool with discovery stations and family fun activities. Providence, RI, Saturday, October 11 – Monday, October 13, 2008.

Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Adventure: Learn about the final manned HST servicing mission and celebrate the history and legacy of this magnificent science tool with discovery stations and family fun activities.

Mission Moon: Past, Present, Future  On exhibit through September 29, 2008
Through lunar photographs from Ranger to Apollo and data gathered from Clementine to Lunar Prospector, the exhibition examines how the Moon was formed, how it evolved, and why it remains a place of wonder 40 years after Apollo. Included in the exhibit is 3D imagery, a NASA lunar sample (Moon rock) from the Apollo 17 mission, multi-media, and museum collections. The exhibit is sponsored by NASA RI Space Grant Consortium and Brown/NASA Northeast Regional Planetary Data Center.

Museum Admission is $2 \ $1 children 2-7. Planetarium Admission (includes Museum admission) is $3 \ $2 children 4-7. No one under the age of 4 is permitted in the planetarium. The Museum of Natural History is open daily 10:00am – 5:00pm, year round. The Museum of Natural History is wheelchair accessible.
