Prepare to visit a locality in the shadow of the old Portsmouth
coal mines. This beach outcrop yields such neat Pennsylvanian
Age plant fossils such as Pecopteris, Neuropteris,
Lepidodendron, and Annularia. Bring your hammers, chisels,
and old clothes. You will get dirty! Pre-registration required.
