
SCOUT PROGRAMS
Scouts arrive between 10:15 and 10:30 and begin the day with a special themed quest that will guide them through the Museum. Then join Museum Educators for a specially designed Scout workshop or planetarium show.
Girl Scout Days
January 12, 10:30am to 12:00pm: Junior Naturalist
Discover fantastic insect, bird and plant specimens on display then explore Museum collections in a hands-on and creative way. A fun and exciting way to discover the amazing beauty of nature from indoors!
March 23, 10:30am to 12:00pm: Everyday Science
Create fizzy, frothy experiments from everyday household items. Be a scientist for the day and discover how you might want to be a scientist in the future.
Program Fee per Session:
Cost is $5.00 per child, $3.00 per adult.
Pre-registration is required, program size is limited.
Please note: this is not a drop-off program. Adults must supervise their children throughout the duration of the program, at least one adult per every 4 children. Siblings (at least 4 years of age) may participate, but they will be charged the $5 fee. No children under 4 please, as they will not be permitted in the planetarium or workshop areas. Pre-registrations are non-refundable. In the event of a snow cancellation, your registration may be applied to a future program.
