Homeschool Adventures are programs held at the Museum of Natural History for local homeschool families. Programs run the first Monday of each month (October through June), from 10:00am to 12:30pm and are organized around a different theme or topic. Special scavenger hunts, crafts and activity tables are available throughout the duration of the program to engage families. In addition, scheduled tours, planetarium shows and workshops are offered. No one under 4 permitted in the workshops, vaults or planetarium. Museum is closed to the public on homeschool days.

Registration:
Advance registration is recommended for each session. Space is limited, so register early.

People and Places of Polynesia

Explore the South Pacific - the volcanic forces that shaped it, the plants and animals that inhabit it, and the people who call its
islands home.

People and Places Family Workshop:
Offered at 10:30am (11:30 am workshop will be offered if 10:30 am workshop fills to capacity). No children under 4 permitted in
the workshop program.

Plus: Scavenger Hunts, Crafts, and Investigation
Stations available 10:00am - 12:30pm.

Program Fee per Session:
$10 per family (up to 4 people) if pre-registered and pre-paid.
$15 per family (up to 4 people) if you register the day of the event. Please note: Family cost now covers up to 4 people ONLY. Additional attendees will be charged $2/per person)
