is the Museum open? The Museum is open every day from 10 am
until 5 pm. Last admission to the Museum is at 4:30pm.
Museum admission is $2 ($1 for children under 2-7
years old.)
Some special programs have a separate admission.
Planetarium
Admission
is $3 ($2 for children under 4-7 years old.) This
includes entrance to the Museum and galleries. The planetarium is open to the public every
weekend and during school vacation weeks.
The Museum does not accept Credit/Debit Cards. Cash or Check only.
First Saturday of the Month is FREE for Providence Residents.
The first Saturday of every month is free to Providence (not East or
North Providence) residents only, with proof of residency. Proof of
residency is a driver’s license or photo id with name and address
printed on it. This serves as a "thank you" to Providence residents
whose tax money helps to support the Museum.
