Children in grades 3-5 will become young scientists as they Explore, Experiment and Discover during these all new monthly programs at the Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park! Pre-registration required! Programs offered October - May. 

December: Under the Microscope
MONDAYS, 3:45pm- 5:00pm, NOVEMBER 30, DECEMBER 7, 14, 21

January: Regal Raptors
Discover the claws, the beaks….. all the amazing aspects of these unbelievable birds of prey! (MONDAYS, 3:45pm- 5:00pm, JANUARY 4, 11, 25, includes museum family pass)

February: Rodents Revealed
They may be small but they make up half of all the mammals on Earth!  Come learn about rodents near and far! (MONDAYS, 3:45pm- 5:00pm, FEBRUARY 1, 8, 22, MARCH 1)

March: Amazing Astronomy
Explore our cosmos and beyond!  We will utilize the museum’s newest exhibit to understand all the magic of our night sky! (MONDAYS, 3:45pm- 5:00pm, MARCH 8, 15, 22, 29)

April: Investigating Insects
What has a segmented body and six legs?  Only some of the most amazing creatures on this planet!  Come discover these incredible critters! (MONDAYS, 3:45pm- 5:00pm,  APRIL 5, 12, 19, 26)

Programs run Mondays.
Prices Per Session per child: $40.00/$30.00 for museum members

Programs will be ongoing throughout the year.  
Class sizes are small, and registration is first-come, first-served. 
This is a drop-off program. For the children’s safety, parents are not allowed in the education center during the program. Parents/Guardians are welcome to wait in the Museum lobby or visit the Museum.
