  Museum on the Move

Bring hands-on natural history programs to your school!  In each program, a Museum educator visits a class and offers students the chance to see and touch scientific specimens from the Museum’s collections. Programs offered September - June.

Program Offerings (Grades K-5):
Bones, Teeth, Horns, and Antlers: Explore the diversity of life

Discover the world of mammals. Compare the differences between carnivores and herbivores.
Students see and handle real mammal skulls and their parts.

Fabulous Fossils: Unlock the mysteries of the past
Discover what fossils teach us about Earth's History. Students see and handle real fossils, including bones, teeth, and shells.

What’s in My Backpack? Use your detective skills to identify the unknown.

Fees: $85.00 (max of 30 students)
Programs not available outside a 20-mile radius of the Museum. 15% discount available for facilities booking three programs in one day, a series of more than 2 programs, or booking the outreach program in conjunction with a field trip program.
