Discover the history of the Museum and its collections with these adult program offererings. Adults of all ages are invited.

Medicine, Myth, and Magic in Western African Cultures
Explore hand-crafted masks, divination tools, shrine figures, and other objects in this survey of African myth and magic. Learn how oracles were used to "read" predictions or to find answers, and which objects associate with healing medicine or witchcraft and sorcery. The rich holdings of the Dwight B. and Anna Cooper Heath Collection will guide our explorations. Interpretive materials provided.

Program Fee per Session:
$3.00 per adult, if you sign up for two or more programs you receive a reduced fee of $2.00 per program.
Program is Free for Museum Members.
Pre-registration required.
