Science and the Arts: A Majestic Medley

The Arts and Sciences have been intertwined for millennia. From how we understand the complexity of music, the physics of dance, and the creation of a masterpiece, there are elements of science in nearly every area of the arts. Join us at the Museum of Natural History as we partner with Providence City Arts to present two days of family programming where you will be immersed in art and science activities, experiences and more!

This is not a drop-off program. Parents/Guardians must remain with children for the duration of the program. Programs are FREE for families, but pre-registration is required. Children under 4 not permitted in programming. Space is limited, and on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please call the Museum at 401.785.9457 x247 to register.

Soundtrack to the Universe:
Saturday May 5, 11:00am-12:30pm
In this workshop we will travel throughout the universe and discover the many sounds of the universe from the sun to the rings of Saturn. We will then recreate our own universe with the help of instruments and our scientific knowledge!
