Entering Cranston Street, you cannot help notice life is anything but quiet in this fast paced, diverse, historic Neighborhood Market area. Enter from downtown Providence and you see the imposing Cranston Street Armory (ca. 1907) and surrounding Armory Historic District. Enter from Route 10 and, you are greeted by the historic Josephine White Block (ca. 1894). What is in between? More than 59 merchants serving the West End - the largest neighborhood in the city.
