Notice of Intent to Request Release of CDBG Funds

On or about June 30, 2013 the City of Providence acting through its Department of Planning and Development will submit a request to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the release of Neighborhood Stabilization Program III funds.

Providence selected to participate in ULI Daniel Rose Center for Public Leadership program

In October 2011, the ULI Daniel Rose Center for Public Leadership named Providence Mayor Angel Taveras to its 2011-2012 Class of Daniel Rose Fellows. As part of this program, Providence has selected to focus on job creation and urban revitalization in Olneyville Square.
