Apprehension- Ralph Street Shooting
Providence, R.I- On May 31, 2011, Russell Cartagena, Date of Birth- 7/14/82 was arrested and charged for the Ralph Street shooting which occurred on May 30, 2011. Cartagena was charged with two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, one count of Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Crime of Violence, one count of Possession of a Firearm after having been convicted of a Crime of Violence, and one count of Possession of a Firearm without a License. He was arraigned in Sixth District Court this morning.
