Harvard Avenue Homicide

PROVIDENCE, RI - On April 23rd at approximately 2023 hours Providence Police responded to a shooting on Harvard Avenue. When police arrived on scene they observed a brown Toyota Camry that crashed into a pole in the area of 41 Harvard Avenue. A male subject, identified as Demitri Todd, age 19 of Providence, was found approximately 30 feet away from the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Todd was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 2054 hours.
