Mayor Angel Taveras, Public Safety Commissioner Steven M. Paré, Colonel Hugh T. Clements, Jr. and members of the Providence Police Department gathered earlier today for a promotional ceremony at the Providence Public Safety Complex. Officers were promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, and Sergeant

Captain Keith J. Tucker, promoted to the rank of Major
Captain Thomas A. Verdi, promoted to the rank of Major

Lieutenant Michael E. Correia, promoted to the rank of Captain
Lieutenant Robert T. Lepre, promoted to the rank of Captain
Lieutenant George Stamatakos, promoted to the rank of Captain

Sergeant Kevin M. Lanni, promoted to the rank of Lieutenant
