The Zoning Board of Review has the authority to grant relief from the City's Zoning Ordinance and the Building Board of Review has the authority to grant relief from the Rhode Island Building Code. Applications for relief from the Ordinance and the Code must be filed with the Office of the Boards of Review. The staff of the Boards of Review are readily available to assist applicants by conducting preliminary reviews of their applications.
