City Archives Welcomes New Volunteer

Britni Gorman has joined the City Archives staff as a volunteer. She is a recent graduate of Rhode Island College, majoring in Political Science, Public Administration and History. During her senior year Britni was part of a team of researchers, led by RIC Professor Fran Leazes, conducting research on the North Burial Ground and developing an mobile application for a walking tour of the cemetery.
During the summer, Britni will be processing a large collection of City Council papers from the 1830s and perhaps another special project or two. Welcome aboard!
