We're starting Summer Garden School early this year, giving you ample time to learn the facts before you get too busy in the garden. Join us at the stunning Roger Williams Park Botanical Center for one class or all five (save 25% if you register for the entire series!).
Late August is the perfect time to renovate a tired lawn. Learn to use better management techniques to reduce the need for excessive amounts of pesticides and fertilizers. Through simple practices you can reduce your carbon footprint, promote pollinators and improve water quality from your back yard!
Free soil pH testing will be done while class is in session. Please bring one sample of lawn soil for testing. To obtain your soil sample, dig six inches deep from several locations, mix them together and fill a sandwich bag half full. Let the soil dry out over night.
