• City-wide Emergency Evacuation Plan
• Blood Borne Pathogen Plan and Inoculations (TB, Rabies,
Hepatitis A & B)
• General Building Safety and Site Visits
• Workers' Compensation Injury Analysis
• Air Quality
• Training
Training
The Department of Human Resources employs a City Training Coordinator who is responsible for meeting the needs of all 1033 union employees. It is the Coordinator's goal to identify and schedule appropriate and relevant training programs in both blue-collar and white-collar areas of employment. Additionally, the Coordinator identifies and schedules professional development seminars and educational opportunities.
If you are currently employed by the City of Providence and a Local Union 1033 Member and have additional questions, concerns, or would like additional information, please contact Michael Welden, Training Coordinator, at 401-421-7740 ext. 397.
