Downcity Design Review Committee (DRC)
The Downcity Design Review Committee was created to administer Downcity District regulations and is authorized to: conduct design review, grant waivers for non- conforming uses and dimensions; review demolition of buildings and grant special incentives for developments that fulfills the purposes of the district.

The DRC typically meets once a month, typically meets on the second Monday of every monthat 4:45 p.m at 444 Westminster Street, 1st floor conference room. Click here for the 2012 meeting schedule & agendas.
Applications and Process
Applicants contact staff to discuss the project, determine how it will be reviewed, obtain application materials and arrange a site visit. Specifications or a site visit may be required to determine whether a project may be exempt from review. Confirmation of an exemption may be issued in writing.
