Zoning
The City's current Zoning Ordinance was adopted in 1994 and has been amended many times since then. Periodically, the City Plan Commission and City Council consider amendments to the Ordinance to address issues that have arisen or in response to constituent requests.

Base & Overlay Zoning Maps are available. City of Providence Zoning Maps are provided by the Department of Planning & Development as a public service and are for informational purposes only. For official zoning interpretations contact the City's Zoning Official at the Department of Inspection and Standards.
